Dallas Cowboys
EDGE, K’Lavon Chaisson – LSU
Dallas is likely looking to add on the defense early in this draft and with EDGE being a need, a sliding Chaisson fits the bill. K’Lavon ranks out a little lower here than most places but the athletic upside is their for him to become a high impact player at the next level.

Cleveland Browns (trade MIA)
OT, Ezra Cleveland – Houston
Cleveland to Cleveland? Rumors started swirling late last week that the Browns were interested in moving down in the first with an eye on Ezra. There is some definite pass blocking potential here and possibly the chance for him to grow into a starting left tackle as a pro, but he is far from a finished product and this is the first real reach that I have in the projections.

LB, Patrick Queen – LSU
Las Vegas gets an opportunity to snag our #2 ranked linebacker in this class, Patrick Queen. There is legitimate game changing upside to Patrick’s game and this pick combined with the earlier selection of Ruggs feels like a pair of player that both Mayock and Gruden could agree on.

DE, Yetur Gross-Matos – Penn State
The Jaguars look to replace Yannick on the defensive line by drafting a player with high upside that needs refinement. Gross-Matos has the ability to live in an offense’s backfield and with pro level conditioning/coaching he could be the steal of the first round.

WR, Justin Jefferson – LSU
Philadelphia selects a highly athletic specimen to add to it’s offense, one that desperately needs play makers for Carson Wentz. Justin Jefferson has the ability to be the best wide receiver to come out of this class if he can maximize his potential.

OT, Andrew Thomas – Georgia
The Vikings find themselves with the prime opportunity to select the #1 tackle on our board, Andrew Thomas. In order to get the most out of the investment they put on Kirk Cousins it will be imperative to buy the pocket passer all the time they can to make decisions.

Green Bay Packers (trade NE)
WR, Tee Higgins – Clemson
Green Bay likely looks to add a receiver early and with Tee Higgins available at #23, the Packers could be coming away with the bet red zone weapon in this class. Tee has some question marks around his ability to separate against pro level corners, but his ability to snatch the ball away utilizing both his size and length is at the top of this class.

QB, Jordan Love – Utah
The Saints have the luxury of not having any glaring holes going into this draft, so why not add a potential future starter at signal caller? Love has huge upside combine with red ink question marks that definitely would be best served by spending some bench time behind a player like Drew Brees.

WR, Denzel Mims – Baylor
After adding some help to the offensive line just a couple picks previous, the Vikings have an opportunity to replace the outgoing Stefon Diggs with a highly athletic prospect in Denzel Mims. Minnesota will need to address the receiver position at some point in this draft so having a chance to select one of the first round talents works out well here.

S, Xavier McKinney – Alabama
Miami could go a lot of different ways with this pick but adding a quarterback for the defensive backfield seems like a solid move. McKinney has the potential to be a long time starter in the NFL and the type of building block that coach Flores would like to add.

CB, A.J. Terrell – Clemson
The Chiefs seize the opportunity to move up and select A.J. Terrell to add another play maker to the back of the defense. Terrell has been a bit overlooked in the media hype leading up to the draft but he’s a solid prospect that projects well for transitioning to the next level.

LB, Zach Baun – Wisconsin
Baltimore looks to add to the defense early in this draft and they select a high level rush linebacker in Zach Baun. After watching T.J. Watt succeed quickly in Pittsburgh the Ravens feel the need to replicate that success with a pass rushing stud of their own.

DL, Marlon Davidson – Auburn
The Titans add to the defensive front with a player that can fill multiple roles. Marlon Davidson can make an immediate impact on Sundays with a tool kit that can find him lined up all over the front of a defense.

CB, Jaylon Johnson – Utah
After trading down with Green Bay the Patriots decide to add another player to the defensive backfield. Jaylon Johnson has been steadily moving up boards and the back end of the first is starting to feel like his likely landing place.

OT, Joshua Jones – Houston
San Francisco has shown interest in Josh Jones so being able to get him in the back of the first feels like a solid fit. Jones profiles as an eventual starter in the NFL with the type of question marks that can be coached and the ability to back up multiple positions on the line early in his career.

DL, Ross Blacklock – TCU
The Seahawks add a talented defensive lineman with the last pick of the first round. Blacklock has seen his stock steadily rise throughout the process and Seattle has already shown interest in a player that can become a starter within two seasons.
