IrishDawg42 - The censorship that we have in place has been active since we opened these boards. Once we have a few months of discovering what are the most active demographics for this website we will adjust it accordingly. I apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience.
it's not hate ..i don't trust them yet . until they prove it to me ..i can't blindly trust the Browns hires anymore . they have backfired to many times since 95
Don't misunderstand Tim, it is no inconvenience to not see curse words, lol...The fact that now is when I noticed should show you how little I use them TBH... It was just mentioned when everyone was coming over there that was part of "their" draw, was a lack of censorship. I really could care less, it only demeans much of what is said on here anyway imho. I rather enjoyed this site to be quite honest and was getting acclimated well... It was more a curiosity question than anything else.
Tell me about it Brett ..i have invented new cuss words discussing the Browns ..they tend to bring the best out in all of us ... Pulls whats left of my hair out
We enjoy having you here IrishDawg42 and if there is anything we can do to make the time you spend here more enjoyable be sure to let us know and we will try to accommodate you as quickly as possible.
Can you explain to me the 2010 49ers (6-10) then the 2011 49ers (13-3) and won their division...biggest change, Jim Harbaugh.... Head Coaches can make all the difference in he world!
Found this on Mingo, shows his strentghs and weaknesses...
Ok...just to get my .02 into the ring. First of all, the biggest thing i hear people complaining about this draft is that our CD is small. While hes not one of the mammoths that the Seahawks have lining up up at 6'1''+, he is 5'10'' and 193...i would say that is average height and stout (for a corner) with good speed. I wouldn't want anything to do with the Honey Badger, and at that point i would have to go with the scouts. If they didnt like the skill set of any of the other players available at that time, or they didnt find it to be the best value, then they didnt take him. I can understand that. Another sore spot is the trade with the Steelers. Oh, wow, they have a 4th round SS with concussion problems, and we will have a 3rd round pick next year. Tony Grossi referred to him as the "Heir Apparent" to Troy...come on! If he was the second coming of TP he wouldnt be going in the 4th round...ill take a 3rd round pick next year every time on that one. We have a SS right now who is still pretty damn good, and did not need another one. Anything after the 2nd day of the draft is guess work for everyone, so i can not be upset or overjoyed with the 3rd day picks. Maybe the DE and OL will pan out..maybe not...if they dont, who cares?? you take guys there with high upside..and thats what we did. Now you go into the rest of our picks, and while it wasnt this regime that picked Josh Gordon, it is where our second round pick for this year went so we can not just discount that. We also got a top 15 producing receiver in the last 4 years from Mia in that trade, a vet who has leadership skills..you cant discount that. I think staying at 6 and picking Mingo was solid. Milliner may have been a need, but i think at 6 was a stretch and we would have overpayed for him. IMO Milliner was better slated a few picks back of where he was....somewhere around 12..but that team still got him so it is a moot point. Is he thin? yes. He has the frame to put on some good weight and still keep his speed and become a disruptive force. He will rotate in off the edge and we will have guys who can just run by the OT on almost every down...whats not to like? So as I have already seen some people denounce their fandom and say how they're fed up...relax. take deep breathe and remember...while you are assuming that we missed on every single pick and all 31 other teams hit home runs and their 6th and 7th rounders are already in the HOF...no one has put on pads yet. This is a new owner, who wants to be here, and is not going to blow up everything every other year to try and appease us. He is going to try and instill a sense of continuity with this team and lead this great city where it belongs.
I also meant to point out that our remaining cap space could be used to front load contract extensions and keep what young talent we do have on the roster for a long time and make it cap friendly in the future to spend if we have to.
