I swear I saw it before but I might be mixing leagues (some other non-fantasy thing I used to be in) but can only expiring players be extended or can any player get years tacked on to their contact?

 

This is the question that no one has asked, but is probably the most important one, considering the nature of this league.

You can extend a player's contract at any point in their current deal, including the offseason of one that has just expired.

 

I believe the original inception of this league may have included that (3 years ago?).

 

This makes the forced pay raises make much more sense.

 

I clarified that in the rules book so that there won't be any ambiguity at a later date.

I know this is early, but if I'm reading the rules correctly: all 1 yr. contract players (expired at end of season) will be up for bids in the offseason?
So, we won't actually retain 30 players at the end of the season?
Or did I miss something?

So, as it would pertain to Hooker, you could use an extension or tag to hold onto him going into next season.

How you feel about your roster and division?

 

I like my team for the most part; I really expected to get Mahomes or Hurts with my first pick, but that didn't happen.
So, I had to shift (as most drafts you need to be flexible)
