Russia is facing a beer shortage due to World Cup fans drinking so much Written by Georgia Moloney on Jun 27, 2018 Image: EPA Many bars and restaurants across Russia are apparently running out of beer, due to World Cup fans sinking too many bevvies. “We just didn’t think they would only want beer,” said one waiter from Moscow. With temperatures reaching up to 29°C in parts, it’s no wonder football fans are sinking god’s nectar by the gallon. It’s reported that consumption of beer in Russia has fallen by a third in the last decade. This is due to tightened regulations on advertising and increased taxes. This cultural shift and subsequent statistic may be to blame for the nations’ inability to quench fans’ thirst.
Never vodka, but beer is running low, I even hear that it's happening in britain too, something about a shortage of co2.
Even if Colombia got a bit of the foot on the ball it wasn't tackled away far enough as Senegal was able to get it on the other foot before being taken down. Regardless it seems the ball wasn't tackled at all as the Senegal shin blocked the Colombian leg at last moment. FIXED
The front view of the penalty replay confirms the side view touching of ball is an illusion. The side view confirms the front view of touching the ball is an illusion. But the ref never uses that evidence. Incompetence.
Nigeria and Senegal should be through at the expense of Argentina and Japan. VAR twice overturned correct penalties on complete nonsense.
