Pats fans that watched Hugh Millen/Dick McPherson/Rod Rust/ Toomy Hodsen do not worry about the future. We appreciate the past. They were the Browns before the new look Browns . Now they are the greatest dynasty ever. Modell moves the Browns and let BB go within 180 days. Brilliant. Not a fan of your 1st two picks. Sorry

You don't have to be, your a Pats fan...However, in the near future...I'm sure your non-fandom is going to turn to hatred as the current Browns foundation turns into the next contending team in the AFC..and the Pats fade away after trading away their future.
Ok SPress....According to you, the Pats are in the midst of the greatest dynasty in football history, and you choose to come kick sand at the Cleveland Browns fans. lol!....Stay classy. Oh, and FTR you're wrong. Otto Graham and the Cleveland Browns went to 10 straight championship games, and won 7 league titles...
Not that I consider myself a troll, but I'm sure others do... Welcome to relevance Lym. I know nobody wants a troll, but having trolls usually means things are going in a good direction.
You insisted that Cook would be the first running back taken and would be a first round "lock". I told you he wouldn't be drafted in the first round. You insisted that Cook would be a Pro Bowler instantly. I told you to watch out for this little guy from Toledo, Kareem Hunt. I defend Josh Gordon because his is a victim-less crime and I think the NFL's policy on marijuana is absurd. I never once defended Antonio Callaway. I never once championed the Browns to take him. In fact, I said this in regards to Callaway: (Called the pick - #MoreOfAProphet) Unlike your heroes, Jameis Winston and Dalvin Cook, who rape women and abuse animals, the guy I'm sticking up for (Gordon) got dinged for smoking marijuana. If Callaway can turn himself around now that he's got a stable environment and millions of reasons to stay on the straight and narrow, I'll welcome him to the Browns. If he screws it up, I'll be one of the first one's calling for his dismissal.
Good point...JFTR, I don't consider you a troll either. Maybe a little misguided on occasion, but that's okay. And SPress takes an occassional shot, but his comments are pretty transparent, and simply based off of our recent history of being terrible. That kind of thing should be expected after a 1-31 run...The "Johnny" stuff doesn't bother me at all. We know Mayfield isn't Johnny, so let em say what they want... There's really only one true "troll", and everyone knows who it is....
Literally never seen anyone on this thread, even dating back to CBS, compare any Browns player to any of those guys. For what its worth, Smith was over-rated.
Correction, his stock dropped because of allegations, which came up unfounded, no charges were filed. Also, to be blunt, its pretty freaking stupid to use parallelism when comparing domestic/pet abuse to drug abuse. Different planet all together in comparing the 2. Drug abuse/addiction is a disease, the other is just being a child in a grown ups body. Also Winston's alleged groping of an Uber driver 8 months ago is back in the news, so, stay tuned.
Who's Lewis? As mentioned, Emmitt Smith is/was overrated. May be an unpopular opinion, but Jerry Rice is/was overrated, too (Moss, Owens, Carter, and T. Brown were for sure all better and Julio Jones might be working his way there). Lastly, Anthony Munoz? There is no comparison. Joe Thomas >>>>> Anthony Munoz. Fact.
Just my take. Uhmmm, no...Rice was/is NOT over-rated. I've never heard anybody say that or even imply it. Might be showing your age a little bit on that one...I can tell ya, Jerry Rice is the ONLY WR that ever got the best of Hanford Dixon when he was in his prime...You listed some great NFL WR's, but none of them should be mentioned before Jerry. Randy Moss and Calvin Johnson are my all-time favorites, but it's because they were physical freaks...JR wasn't built like that, but I still wouldn't list them over Rice...
How convenient you leave out the Brantley quote but we understand how you can look over it since he’s a Brown
Just gotta call out lies when they happen. He barely mentioned Hunt, and didn't give him any note until just before the draft. There was another guy who he championed for like crazy that I can't remember - but it wasn't Hunt. I think the only saving grace with showstopper is that he's helping us all get through the offseason. That, and every once and a while he stumbles on something... before summarily putting his foot in his mouth within the next few sentences.
