No . . . But Durant needed the Warriors to get a chance to spank the Cavs.

Maybe he would have wound up on a team that could at least coach him decently.

You mean like Landry Jones and Joshua Dobbs were? Ya, I can see your point.

I agree Lym… My point was, he's 21, a 2nd round draft pick, everyone including the Browns knew he needed time to learn, he didn't have the best Browns team to play with and is now being called the worst Brown's QB in decades? Give me a break.

Look at Jared Goff the #1 pick had a shitty year his first year and was considered by many to be a huge bust. One year later, everyone forgets that and he's now a good QB. I just think the critics of Kizer on here are out of bounds with the little sample size and situation he was put in.

He may end up being a terrible QB, but to use last year as an example for any reason is poor judgement IMHO.

Going 0 for 15, with a completion percentage of a tad under 54% and throwing 22 interceptions (plus 9 fumbles) will earn him that title.

  6. Well if you would take Hogan or Wynn over him there is a problem

So he may be good, but he also may be terrible... Either way, he gets a pass on his rookie season because Steeler fan says so....Mmmkay, thanks.

Definition of poor judgement: Steeler fan still blathering on about the possibility that Deshone Kizer could be good someday, on a Cleveland Browns thread.

What's worse is, you play both sides. "He may be good, but then again, maybe not." lol!

NEWSFLASH: You can say that about any QB prospect....WTH is your point? Besides constantly trying to remind us how bad we were last year...We've moved on from the horror of D. Kizer. Let it go man...Stop citing the #1 pick of the 2016 draft as if he has ANYTHING whatsoever to do with the 52nd player taken last year....

  8. No I believe his point is Browns fans are calling him the worst QB in franchise history when he still has his career in front of him....pretty bold statement when he can still get better

He won’t be better in a Browns uniform. So they didn’t say anything wrong about him

  10. Just another blunder by trading him then

There can be no debate that, while he was a Cleveland Brown, he was the worst (multi-game) starting QB in Browns history.

Browns fans are just glad he's gone. I would have traded him for a pair of socks.

Hopefully the stars will align and DK will somehow end up in Pittsburgh...Then maybe wazoo will get a clearer picture, and understand why I think his attempt here is laughable...

  13. Everything is debateable

    Then go ahead and try.

  15. Not that worried bout it, but I know hes better than Hogan, Wynn, Whitehurst and Lewis

  16. Lyman "Franchise Asshole" Browns Buckeyes

None of which were multi-game starters.

    Try again.

Guess I should talk about Kizer on the G.B. board since they aren't blaming him for the performance of the team last year.

So if you are a fan of a different team your opinion is invalid. I'm responding to a comment that was made in poor judgment IMHO. OHHHH I forgot... If you aren't a Brown's fan your opinion can't be honest, objective and or correct lmao.

Yeah, I'm not understanding what all of this fuss is about. I get that it's the offseason, but... maybe it's just semantics?

DeShone Kizer was the worst multi-start, single-season performing QB in Browns history (I'm not going to go back and check the stats, if that's not the case).

DeShone Kizer may not be a complete waste of space QB by the end of his career (I think he will be, but whatever).

Is this seriously what at least the last two pages have been about? Alright, ladies and gentlemen - let's get football started, already!

    ::insert ad hominem insult here::

According to most, the #1 pick SHOULD have the talent to beat out almost any veteran, but, the team signed a pro-bowl QB who doesn't make mistakes to jumpstart the team and help the rookie see how its down. If Baker starts, AWESOME. If Tyrod holds him at bay all season, half-season, AWESOME.

The team has legitimate excitement building not just amongst us wearing orange colored glasses, but nationally (except Pittsburgh).

I really feel bad to those only seeing the negative side of things. You should read "the Energy Bus", it might help you out a bit.

Also, how the hell does saying a guy performed worse than any other season long starter in team history turn into an apologist fest of "but he should have sat" "but he was a 2nd rounder" "but the coaching was terrible" "but these other rookies were bad once too".

None of those were the argument. Single. Worst. Season. Not single worst for a rookie, or for a guy who should have sat out a year, or who had bad coaching.

Is it a shame that he was greatly overwhelmed? Yes. Does it make his season any less awful? Does it make his decision making better? Does it make his processing faster? buncha fat "no's" there.

Your quote is inaccurate. The quote was... The worst QB in Cleveland Browns history!... Not worst season. I would agree if what you said were the case.
