Depends on how many quarterbacks squeeze into the top and what the asking price will be for the 4th and 5th picks.
No doubt they would love to have him, but unless Tampa is jumping up, they aren't sniffin Barkley... i feel near certain Bucs will take Fitzpatrick or James....we'll see.
No idea why i took you off ignore. smh....It's impossible for you to not be irritating. lol!. Your responses are terrible. I just made it clear I don't think Barkley falls anywhere near Tampa's pick... What are you questioning? Why do I think Safety for the Bucs? Take a look at their roster.
Not really hard to answer....I think Barkley is going to NYG or the Browns at 2 or 4 so he wont last to 7 is sufficient enough
This is where you miss out the true meaning..the Browns and Jets fanbases are two of the largest in the league..that raises ratings since the common fans aren't watching on Thursday anyway.
I don't think there is any way Barkley gets past pick 6 at the very latest, and I'd be surprised if he get's past #4.....If Saquon somehow fell all the way to Tampa Bay, they should thank their savior and sprint to the podium...I just can't see it happening.
Yeah, I don't know why...Doesn't matter who the Browns take, unless Tyrod is hurt in the first two games, he will be playing in that game. IF that's what they were counting on, they should have made it later in the year.
Idk Irish. I hear what you are saying, but this team needs a W worse than any team ever did. If we start out an ugly 0-2, and get smoked by the Steelers and Saints, a QB change heading into week 3 wouldn't be that shocking IMO. It depends on several factors of course...How does the rookie look everyday taking reps in practice? If we get a guy that lights it up in the pre-season, you know the pressure will be on if Taylor starts out poorly...Not saying I expect that, just saying that it's possible. Sometimes it takes a while to develope chemistry, and one thing that Browns nation is fresh out of is patience.....I think Taylor will play well. I expect Taylor to play well. But this is the nature of NFL football and that's just how it is when ya got the first pick of the draft sitting behind ya.. Taylor will feel the heat of the #1 rookie behind him immediately if the young prospect looks great in camp and in pre-season games, and we are sitting at 0-2....
Well, you know how I feel about the subject. Rookies need to marinate. If we are on the subject though, I think it's pretty obvious there is only one guy who has shown a propensity to overtake adversity and push himself into a starter role, no matter what situation is presented...just saying...
It's an early game too, when hopes and dreams are still strong for the playoffs and itching for moar football. Play this in November and you'd only get the fanbases and hardcore football fans.
No doubt Mayfield would be the one pressing....Look, I agree with your theory. Ideally, it would be great for the rookie to sit and learn. But how often do things go "ideally" for the Browns. That schedule looks absolutely brutal to me. Taylor could play VERY well in the first two games, and we could still start 0-2...And if that is the case, i would expect Taylor to maintain his starting job....But this IS the #1 pick of the draft we're talkin about. It's not Cody Kessler. There will be pressure building to play the rookie QB if we aren't winning football games.
Gotta believe Haley is cranked up to be ready for game 1 vs Pitt. Hope that translates into players being ready to go at the first snap.
