If I had a choice I'd accept all the judgment in the world if I could just instill a little reading comprehension in you.
Dude... I literally came back after finding it and posted it. I'm not accusing you of anything! I like pouring through countless pages of posts about as much as a I like a lead-based enema. Geeze... now who's panties are in a bunch?
There is nothing worse than someone throwing out accusations and then trying to play them down. Grow some balls Sammy.
This proposal was for the Bills and Giants to swap picks: John Dorsey needs to make that deal at #1 (under-cut Giant's asking price) or give them a discount for #4.
So, in other words, you let everyone talk you out of Mayfield at #1? I'm not ready for that just yet...4 weeks is a long time and new reports will come out every other day.
No, I go back to @greatwazoo's question about the QB rankings and buy into the "Mayfield will be there" at #4. And should the worst happen - Mayfield, Rosen, and Darnold all gone in the Top 3 - you have the picks at that point to build a championship-caliber team around Tyrod Taylor and see what he can do with a legit supporting cast. Add #12, #22, as well as a two of three (#53, #56, or #65) to #4, #33, #35, and #64 and you've got an A++ draft even after missing out on the QB.
12 = 1200 22 = 780 53 = 370 65 = 265 Totals of 2,615 AND imho, not worth giving up on Mayfield...however, if they aren't drafting him anyway, then I would say it would be worth any other QB mentioned...as long as they are taking a play maker at #4 and not settling on the 4th QB left over. If they are drafting a QB, I want him taken at #1, no matter who he is.
Well, I might actually like that line of thinking...and I missed the #56 pick, you posted #53 twice, so I thought you just repeated it by mistake.. So to update: 12 = 1200 22 = 780 53 = 370 56 = 340 65 = 265 Totals of 2,955 This actually totals out quite nicely with the #1 overall pick...Why not get all 5? Then they don't have to worry about getting their top choice. Why spend 4 picks to get to 2 and be left with a flyer at 56 or 65? That player isn't worth all the work it took to get to the top of the draft to get your top choice.
