Oh I see...You weren't tryin to dig the Browns fans that wanted Sammy Watkins, you were just letting us know that he's fast. Thanks. smh...

We can all see your game, stopper....

  3. You guys wanted A Robinson...let me guess you wanted Keenum as well when I posted that info????

Just admit it Stopper...If the Browns had signed him, you wouldn't have complimented his speed....you would have said something derogatory about the player or the deal or both...

FWIW, I'm not a Sammy Watkins fan at all...but I know some Browns fans have mentioned him, especially after we got his old Buffalo QB.

  6. There is no denying his speed....I was never high on him out of Clemson and he hasnt proven me wrong

Just heard that the Solder deal is good to go and hinges around a Joe Thomas retirement announcement.

  8. SAS M.V.P. Rams Chargers

It didn't come with the blue checkmark (verified), but I heard Joe was expected to announce his decision soon.

I'm getting the sense that Joe is going to retire today.

  10. So if Joe doesnt retire, Solder goes elsewhere....if he does retire he signs w the Browns?

    De-Gone Kizer

I'll admit it... I'm happy. Kizer is and was a lost cause here in Cleveland. Yes, he was given an ill-equipped support staff, left out to dry by his OC/HC, and thrown to the sharks. All very unfair, but here's the major take away in all that:

John Dorsey saw enough in his four-five games in the building (as well as from a distance, I'm sure) to know that a prototypically-built, young quarterback, with plus athleticism for the position was not what he wanted in Cleveland. Regardless of what narrative the national media wants to drive, those are the facts.

For that reason alone, Sam Darnold and Josh Allen *must be* removed from any and all Browns' mock drafts, simulations, discussions, boards, etc. In what world would it make sense to trade a guy you just pissed an entire season away for, only to draft the nearly identical prospect and have him sit behind Taylor? If that is the plan, keep Kizer and let him sit - he's already been given a year's worth of experience (bad experience, but still).

The decision is going to come down to Mayfield/Rosen, with Mayfield getting the nod. #MoreOfAProphet #CalledItInSeptember

More likely, if Joe comes back for one more season, Solder plays on the right side. If Joe retires today (or in the near future), he's the fill in for left tackle.

  13. Darnold is a far better prospect than Kizer...the kid didnt win anything at ND...Darnold played in some big games

Cleveland has a deal in place for Solder should Joe announce his retirement.

But if I was wagering on it, I would bet that Joe had already informed the Browns of his decision which is why they have this offer in place.

  15. Lyman "Franchise Asshole" Browns Buckeyes

The optimist in me thinks that Solder will sign IF Joe decides to stay for another year. He could then rub elbows with a 1st ballot HOFer and be part of one of the greatest turnarounds in NFL history.

A guy can dream, can't he?

False. DeShone Kizer is a better prospect than Sam Darnold.

Please remind me how Darnold fared in his bowl game against tOSU?

HINT: Worse than DeShone Kizer fared in his bowl game against tOSU.

  17. He fared really well....had some great throws while being pressured ALL game...red zone TOs killed them along w the fumble from #80 on the 1st possession....Kizer was never up for debate w #1 pick....Darnold has been linked very often

  18. SAS M.V.P. Rams Chargers

Kizer was *literally* the #1 pick in most mock drafts up until the post-season, thanks in large part to his wildly disappointing season. Until that time, it was the same crap we hear about Sam Darnold.
    • Looks like a QB
    • Good arm
    • Plus athlete
    • "Pro-style" offense

  19. Kizer was benched for Zaire who was not a good D1 QB

  20. Bears throwing some $ around
