@Tim What if the Browns are angling to get the Bills 2 x picks plus more for 1, then taking the fallout from the QB gang bang at the top of the draft?
He (assume @IrishDawg42) wanted Cousins in free agency or wanted to draft Mayfield. Pretty sure he saw Kizer as a project and not a starter.
It's an interesting angle, but iff they are going to make a deal like that with Buffalo, I believe it would be for the #4 and not the #1. They could still look at doing something like that, but the idea that it didn't get done during the Tyrod deal indicates one or both sides are keeping their options open. There's still a lot of time between now and the start of the draft.
In all seriousness, if Cleveland doesn't go with Baker and chooses to go with another passer at or near the top, would you still be smoked off about it considering what Dorsey has done so far? Or do you think you could quickly jump on board?
I don't see it Tim...We traded away a premium pick for Tyrod Taylor to be the bridge QB. Signing McCarron now doesn't make sense IMO...
It's just a hypothetical based on that rumor I mentioned earlier about Dorsey wanting Bradford to be the bridge after getting McCarron for Hue.
