The crazy thing is Shaq uses his disabled left arm to punch the ball out "peanut style"....He's the kind of player you want in the locker room. I won't be shocked if Belichick is all over him..

He's been eased into the offense all year. While everyone was screaming to give the ball to Ajayi during the games when Blount wasn't doing well I was tacking on to let Clement get some of those looks. Whenever he touches the ball positive things happen.

I bet you would have said the same thing about Jason Witten coming out of Tennessee...

  8. No Witten is actually a TE

I'm sorry to mainstay posters, I agree, to a degree, with Stopper on the TE take...albeit, DeValve is a poor man's Gesecki obviously. The take still makes sense to me though. Gesecki, imho, would be a marked improvement over DeValve, but he isn't someone that I say "The Browns MUST have that kid".

The more I look into this kid the more I like him. I agree TD he’s the type of player that Belicheck would be all over. Not just because he can play but because of how he carries himself and his work ethic. :bravo:

I scoffed because of the level of prospect we are talking about. When we made Seth Devalve our 4th round pick that year, I can honestly say I had never heard of him. Whereas Gesicki is the #1 TE in his class...To simply say that "we already have a guy like that", doesn't make sense to me. DeValve isn't that caliber of player. That's like saying, we don't need Barkley, we got Duke Johnson...

  16. Here's another reason why it's hard being a Browns fan....smh

  17. ESPN's Jenna Laine reports the Buccaneers and Browns both tried to trade for former Rams DE Robert Quinn.

The Bucs reportedly offered a fourth-round pick and the Browns a fifth, but the Dolphins acquired him for a fourth-round pick and an exchange of sixth-round picks. With the number of draft picks the Browns have, it's fairly surprising they weren't able to work out a deal for a player that could help improve their pass-rush.

Important to note here that John Dorsey isn't opposed to strengthening the pass rush. Did it multiple times at Kansas City and helped build a tremendous defense there. Probably watched Jacksonville do it over the past two seasons as well - huge boost to a secondary when you are scary along the defensive front.

Do you think Sam Hubbard could be a good fit in Cleveland? I know we traditionally ignore all the Ohio State players and let Pittsburgh take them, but i was just wondering....

I do. I think he's a lot like Emmanuel Ogbah - although not quite the same athlete. He holds up well in both run defense and the pass rush. I do think he's probably off the board in the 20s though, which means we'd have to trade up for him.

If he somehow fell to #33 or #35, I wouldn't think twice. We could use more Buckeyes on the team.
