wtf ? dangerous hit face first against the glass from gabriel. that sob needs 5-7 games. patrick gets his revenge with a cheap shot - elbow to head of his own. he should get 3. 2 wrongs don't make a right. gabriel needed to be tossed out of the game for that hit. patrick should know better to get revenge that way. cheap chicken shit in my book from him.

Surprised he was ejected for that to be honest. the hit on Nolan Patrick was a lot worse. hope he's ok? The Rangers guy tried to make sure he was ok afterwards, which was decent of him.

Jack Eichel has a hearing for a hit to Carl Soderberg's brain box.

    1) I am obviously biased.
    2) I witnessed this in person.
    3) It was a legal check by Jack, that is until Carl deked in his typical lurch-like fashion.
    4) The NHL has demonstrated their willingness to go big game hunting after suspending McJesus.
    5) Jack was in a pissed off mood after a late hit by Nick Zadorov.

I think he'll get one game, and won't be shocked if it's two.

Oh, the Sabres have called up Alex Nylander.

    Two too much.

But that's the Wheel's way these days.

I saw the hit, I didn't think he was getting anything.

I hope I remember to watch that last game between the Flyers and Islanders... we'll see if there is any 'retribution' delivered.

I doubt they want to risk any suspensions heading into the playoffs. I say they save it for next season.

there will be and it's an issue. Boychuk pointed and screamed at Voracek and said "i'll get you for this!" that sounds like a threat to me. if im bettman, im calling the islanders to shut him down and knock this shit off. no place in sports for premeditated comments like that.

now in FB hockey posts, all of Flyers nation doesn't think Jake did anything wrong as Boychuk was trying to hit him from behind. Jake knew he was going to be hit and purposely hit him with him back shoulder blade to his head. People asked me - "what game was I watching etc?" Jake knew damn well what he was doing. Why else would Boychuk be knocked to the ground like that ??

i don't agree with the 5 min major or the 2 games suspension. that seems excessive when malkin swung his stick at raffl's head !

  17. Catfish Guest

can he appeal ? 2 seems excessive ?

  18. Catfish Guest

he is! Jake and the NHLPA are fighting his suspension ! Good. No way it was worth 2 games!
