The incident occurred at 8:46 of the first period. Ristolainen was assessed a major penalty for interference and a game misconduct.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement and, based on his average annual salary, Ristolainen will forfeit $90,000.00. The money goes to the Players' Emergency Assistance Fund.

Prout is considered a repeat offender under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement and, based on his average annual salary, will forfeit $38,414.64. The money goes to the Players' Emergency Assistance Fund.

 

Calgary captain Mark Giordano isn?t scheduled to face a disciplinary hearing for a hit that injured Ducks d-man Cam Fowler, an NHL spokesman confirmed on Wednesday.
