  2. oh hey, this reminds me - forgot to mention that midori is a typical giant of an athlete. she's four foot nine.

    4'9"... That's almost a standup blowjob.

    Tyson Barrie with 3.

Trouba has cracked my top 20 dirtbag list after his chicken-wing headshot on Brouwer today. He has a few of those under his belt now.

Rinaldo hopefully spins the wheel. it wasn't high as much as it was just plain dirty.

is a player's history taken in to account only when deciding the length of the suspension and not whether its a suspendable hit or not?

    Yes?

    i think thats the rule.
Rinaldo might get off on this, shouldn't but might. if he doesn't he'll get hammered because of history.

Honestly, I can't tell and I'm sick of wasting my time trying to figure out what they do.
My suspicion is that they only use history after deeming whether or not a hit was worthy of supplemental discipline, but I'm far from positive on that. I base that off of the numerous hits that have been let go since 11' by repeat offenders although there were a few fines that I thought might have been based on a player's past.

not being a homer here, but courterier's head snaps back viciously. rinaldo goes after his head and sternum. and then his head via helmet bounces off the ice twice like patrick swayze in youngblood.

sorry zac, but i hope you get 10 games without pay! and just remember karma in philly next time bitch!

  11. i really hate to say it, considering who's involved, but i think the league got this right.

now that's i've seen the hit, i agree - not only is it not suspendable, imo, no penalty at all should have been called.

I have to agree now that ive seen it in slow-mo and from multiple angles.

Cant blame the refs for the penalty call tho. When i first saw it live, i thought Zac tried to kill him by decapitation. I over reacted.

Too me, it was a borderline hit, but with-in the rules.

one of the rare instances where it wasn't illegal but it was dirty, imo anyway.
right at the 20 min mark, a vulnerable player and a high hit.

no penalty at all ? hmm. doesn't have the puck, defenseless, shoulder to head...yeah that's not a penalty. see the way his neck snaps back? that's not from an ordinary check. shoulder meet head!

2 things here, the blow to gionta's head was dirty as #74 hits him in the helmet with his stick. however the spear to the gut in retaliation is very dirty and illegal.

That's a good old-school spear right there by Gionta.
Since he was tossed, I'm skeptical that he'll get a hearing for that. Wish he would though.

I just hope we don't see players going full tomahawk this year.

what difference does it make hbob when the penalty wheel of justice is just as tampered as the nfl wheel of justice.

might as well have 100 brown lunch bags on a table and the suspensions written on a piece of paper and inside each bag. don't mark the bags with the contents inside. now mix up all the bags and pick one. waa la the trick she has done!

Borowiecki did nothing wrong there. Gionta has to fight for position in front of the net. he got out of hand and went over the line. there should be zero patience for intentional stick work.
