Vancouver really sucked last night. I'm very surprised this wasn't hammered. I thought it was 2 games for sure, he turned, knew exactly where Dorsett was, and threw his elbow up and back. Looked deliberately high. Do you have a clip of that?

That game was pretty nasty. Kassian had that shitty hit on Maroon too, I thought Perry was going to cross-check Kassian right in the teeth after that one.

They got the call right on the ice. Alzner had blood so they had to give him a major automatically. Otherwise it was a pretty general boarding minor imo. It was incredibly stupid and STL deserved to lose when a captain hangs his team out like that when they were already down Berglund and Lehtera. I would have suspended him for being a moron more than anything.

I didn't think it was worth of supplemental discipline.

There is no place in the NHL for shiitt like that. I dont care who you are, a roster spot, or a superstar or the circumstances involved. When the stick is used as a weapon, you should be gone. No couple games, no fine , deters these types of actions by a handful of perpetrators. The NHL needs to show him the door.

I can tolerate a sucker punch, although it is a cowardly act, but when the stick is used like that even on an instigating goon, black flag the jerk. He and his actions are a disgrace to the NHL, the Dallas organization and to the paying fans.
