Gudas is right up there with Roussel on my "hot garbage" list award for 2015.

 

I hate me some Gudas.
thats a tough one to get mad at Gudas for. Not only does Upshall get poke checked and then immediately hit, its his own fault his head is down. Gudas kind of chicken wings Upshall there but at he doesn't raise the elbow.

 

to me pronger needs to rest and to get better. i mean keith premeau didnt play in the philly winter classic bc he still has problems from his post concussion syndrome etc. pronger needs rest and medical treatment!

 

Pronger will never play competitive hockey again cat. I think the LTIR is such garbage, same issue w/ Savard. They should be medically cleared and insurance should still pick up the tab while the teams should be given 100% cap relief.

Pronger working for the NHL is wrong. I don't blame him for it but he's still technically a Flyer employee while now working as an unbiased NHL employee. conflict of interest.

I don't blame Pronger at all, he's looking out for his. I don't have a problem with that.

Pronger is a 35+ deal designed to skirt the cap. Given the weak level of trading, summer overage allowance, and acquisitions league wide, Savard's hit has hardly been in the way. Fuck em' they stay on the books.

 

my take is that the Savard deal wasn't ludicrous, the elbow to the dome that he took was though. The Bruins being penalized for that is such a joke.

 

How have the Bruins been hit because of the Savard contract? They've had guys on ELCs or RFAs that they could defer for most of a summer almost every offseason if he was eating too much of their summer overage allowance.

 

you know the CBA better than me but as I see it, any inconvenience to Chiarelli on this B.S.
have to assume he has to change his game plan around, timing of signing certain players in the off season, off season roster spot(?). I plead ignorance on the intricacies of the CBA but Im under the assumption that the Bruins do have to deal w/ Savard's money every off season and work around it.

im w/ frank, the league was right on this. that was Upshalls own fault.

first suspension will be Patty Cakes, 10 games for sweeping his own player's leg.

Erik Johnson gets nothing, I would have liked to see him pay because he plays for Colorado.
