good stuff. that little #67 hung in there the whole time. Tinordi was a lot bigger and wussed out with spinner takedown. it seemed that 2 refs saw the hit pretty clearly and neither of them put their arm up, indicating a foul. how did Tinordi get the game misconduct? because the Crap laid on the ice for 15 minutes, declaring himself dead? that's lame.

 

I dont really know. This is all I could find.

 

i thought that was a good hit. I'm pretty liberal on hits though.

 

Kinda strange that if the player gets right back up, its a good hit, but when the player stays down, the same type of hit is called illegal. I dont care for that kind of inconsistency. Just might nlead to more 'on ice theatrics'.

thats a tough one. haven't seen it in real time but it looks fairly innocent.
how many concussions has Skinner had? he might need substantial time off.

 

It's not the worst of elbows, but he pushed off a little high with it, based on skinner missing time, he'll probably get a couple of games.

 

Skinner out indefinitely, Niskanen looks like he won't be disciplined.

 

that sucks. is this going to be like a Savard situation where any little contact up high might send him down the tunnel?

... because if anyone should be able to recognize a dirty hit that crosses the line when he sees one, it would be a guy who has delivered plenty of those dirty hits himself.

I care that he's way too close to players still, same reason that I was/am anti-Shanny.
Throw in that he's a still getting a franchise paycheck and it's almost impossible to sell that there isn't a conflict of interest. I really don't think he's loyal to anybody, but that's not going to change perception.

This is mickey mouse good-ol boy shit at it's worst. Let him get brought on temporarily as a consultant, not as a full time employee.

On top of all this crap, he's a prime candidate to have CTE or concussion/head injury related illness later and this puts him, the PA, and the league in a fucked up spot for lawsuits down the road.

This whole thing stinks. Let him finish out his goddamn contract at least.
