This goes right to the bullshit about why I want them to start calling penalties based on stick position too, he cranks the fuck up on this one, no attempt to play hockey and he makes a dirty hit.

This was why I wasn't too upset about Minnesota's 6 on 5 (as in skaters + the goalie for a total of 7 on 6) for half a shift in game 4. Should have been a major on Bollig. He'll pay for it now.

Disappointing to see, he hasn't pulled this type of stuff for the most part, usually is more mindful of the puck and his own positioning.

If it's a stiff penalty, I won't be complaining, he came into the NHL AFTER this type of hit was deemed worthy of a spin of the wheel.

 

Bollig gets 2 game ban.

 

Poor PK, they just keep picking on him. Funny stuff. I really am liking all the stuff thats going on in that series. It keeps you tuned in to see what happens next. The hockey aint too bad either, but the extra effort these guy's are putting into getting under each others skin kinda spice up whats already a great rivalry. Some folks may not like the extra creativity...I dont mind it at all.

 

i'm waiting for someone to release Voodoo Zombie Dust (most likely from a Hab) in the Bos-Mtl series. this one is intense and i'm more than happy to watch these two go at it. great rivalry that just keeps adding on to the pile.

...and then the league turns around and fines Henrik Lundqvist $5,000 for spraying Crosby. What am I missing? Does the CBA cover different maximum allowable fines for certain players? Just like picking on goalies, I guess.

and someone needs to take arquette out. that gene pool is so polluted, i wouldn't doubt the arquette family is on the EPA superfund site list.

The decision and explanation make sense to me. Everything seems rational and fair.
