I don't know anything about those people, conservative radio has been discrediting them for years now. All the characteristics that Al was describing them as, you definitely could apply it to trump, which is ironic as it is hypocritical.
The point I'm making is that you cannot, in good conscience, make massive generalizations about a group of people whose political, religious or sexual preferences don't jive with yours.
You don’t see god...you see nature. You can’t prove nature is god because you can’t prove god. I might be a lot of things but ignorant has never been one of them. I’ve taken the time in my life to learn theology because I decided I was an atheist. I’ve never simply accepted what I was spoon fed...something the great majority of religious people can’t say. When exactly did being religious become synonymous with being strictly moral? One, you don’t need to be religious to be moral. Two, plenty and I do mean plenty of so called religious people have committed severe ammoral crimes throughout history. The conservative right side of the political spectrum does not own a monopoly on morality. Your views are hypocritical, antiquated, wrong, and reek of ridiculous right wing bias.
The two things are mutually exclusive. Hollywood is populated with a huge percentage of cretins and they have been exposed as such. For decades people have fawned over them because of their fame and lifestyle. Its a joke really. My belief in God is a great base of my belief system. God made the world and mankind and gave him free will. Mankind can also sin and I am a sinner struggling like any other flawed human being. If you don't like my response to BWWs attack on my faith, that is fine with me. He attacks me and mocks me all of the time as the atheist and asshole that he is. He gets personal all of the time even to the point of wanting to have a "reckoning" with me. So I respond in kind to his crap.
AH. This coming from a person whose judgement about people is so blatantly wrong. Your friendship and protection of BWW disqualifies you to make any kind of evaluation of people. Worry about your own weaknesses before criticizing mine. I know that I am not perfect. I know that I am a sinner. Trump is a sinner but he is a good president. Trump is an asshole but understands how the world works and what people are. His actions on the economy is great. His freeing up the military to tamp down ISIS is great. His appointments of federal judgeships is as promised. IT is funny to me that liberals don't seem to remember the hound dog presidents that they had in their history. Guys like John Kennedy, Lyndon Johnson, and Bubba Clinton himself. All hound dogs as people who marginalized women and were sexual predators. I care not that Trump is flawed. All politicians and people in general are flawed. I care if what they do helps the American people. FOr all of his character flaws, Bubba Clinton was a pragmatist who got some good things done as a president. Same thing with John Kennedy. THen you have someone like Gerald Ford or Jimmy Carter who were very good people but lousy presidents. I almost would put Obama in that category but his actions to try and take down his successor are clearly criminal and I hope they end up prosecuting him for it.
I think that it is safe to say that by their actions and statements, most of Hollywood aren't very intelligent or credible. THey get pampered and adored by people because of their looks and money or both. But that appears to be changing across the country. The ratings for their awards shows are very much down and a lot of them have been outed for their evil doings and the hypocritical nature that they have. THey've been exposed as cowards for their failure to act on the sexual attacks on both women and men that was known for years. Streep is a great example of a coward of a person who described herself as a champion of women but failed to take Fat Harvey and company on. Why was that? SHe had the power and money to do some good and clean up her industry but didn't say or do shit. Others the same. Just hypocritical cowards all.
This is what I'm talking about Al. You make these broad sweeping statements that show blatant intolerance, hatred and judgements all the time. I was raised in the Catholic church and this ^ is not the way that God expects his children to act. Why do you set yourself apart from other people who follow Christ? Why is it okay for you to make massive judgements on people who you don't know and who's lives you've never experienced? That's what I'm wondering about.
