There is a thread in the Steelers forum regarding a poster traveling to Chicago for his birthday. He is looking for some tips on what to do while there. If anyone has a moment and could throw him some suggestions it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance - http://mudncleats.com/forumlist/viewtopic.php?id=3226
Don't like wine. Don't smoke, but love me the smell of a good cigar. Doc said don't drink beer. ... but I've got an imperial stout waiting in the fridge. So I'll contribute to the latter, when it comes up. I had a Fuller's London Porter with a steak one time, and it was fantastic. Felt like I was sitting in an upscale steakhouse. Just an alternative to the red wine, if you need it
Funny enough, my wife loves Pinot Noir, as well as Port. Always gets an expensive glass where-ever we go, though we don't keep track. But I'm not a red wine guy, so I'm an asshole. Pops loves what he calls "Wisconsin Wine" - which is the Belgium Red ALE from New Glarus, though their site describes it a marriage of Wine and Ale. It is tasty, but I wouldn't really call it a wine. It was discontinued but I see it's back on the active list on their site. And no one mentions any merlot?
