ok so I live outside of Philly by 8-10 miles depending on which way you go. I'm 15 min NW of the airport. we are getting hit with snow, freezing rain and sleet today and anywhere from 6-12 inches of snow tomorrow. so it was snowing all afternoon. then the freezing rain came and sleet. no announcement to close early or anything else. last week they did close due to the snow storm. to me sleet and freezing rain are worse as cars can't stop. I walk past the Head HR's lady's office. she was on the phone laughing and talking to someone. really? Keep in mind she was once reprimanded for not closing the office 3 yrs ago when a terrible storm came and she stayed in her office all day. people just left early on their own then and today. how blind can you be? you know the storm is coming. schools are closing early. staff is just leaving early bc you won't close the office. I live 5-8 min away from the office. My boss was in a meeting till 4. I wasn't waiting for him to make a decision. so I went home and I am back online now. the drive was awful. car was having trouble stopping and I slid on a few turns and that's going 10 mph only a few miles. there are many staff who live 30 min, 45 min and over an hour away. to me it's about staff safety. many of us can work from home, so why not let us? nope. I had to leave on my own. now most of you will say "you left anyway, so what's the issue?" the issue is I really am not suppose to just leave. no one is and yet people do it. technically I could get in a lot of trouble for leaving without consent or approval. that's my beef. storm is coming and no decision is being made and it's getting really bad out there. it's only going to get worse, not better. why stay open?

The entire trial and judgement was a joke. The nuns had a buyer for more money that would have let them live out the rest of their lives.
