Good point on the first part but I didn't mean Dallas. I meant Philly was not looking like idiots on D every drive since after the Denver game. Dallas actually has some sort of D, except against Denver. Philly doesn't have Manning. Oh wait maybe we do now lol. I am not looking ahead beyond the bye yet. These next 2 games are important. The first will show if there is any real hope of the team being good, the 2nd will be important for any chance at tiebreakers and keeping Washington away. I never expected a playoff push this year. I was only hoping for something like 6-10, 7-9 with a positive outlook for next season. Foles is important moving forward. e will have to stay promising at the least and the WRs/TEs and RBs at least look like they won't be a problem.
Unless, of course, the Redskins spit the bit and lose to the 1-7 Vikings, who hadn't won on american soil all year. [ahem]
623 yards and 31 points to the Lions is pretty bad, and 506 yards and 30 points to the Chargers is almost as bad. Both on the road, another coming up Sunday. Brees at home is averaging 380 yards per game against tougher defenses. Dallas may need some takeaways. It should be a good game though, either team can win it. Good luck, and No Injuries.
For you cowboy fans I hate to say it but you are going to be stuck with teasing teams as long as Jerry is alive or Owns the Cowboys. His ego has grown to big tot he point where he is never going to hire a gm or let a coach actually coach. I see the cowboys ending up very much like the Oakland raiders did with Al Davis. Even with Al gone they still have not recovered but because of his interference the raiders didnt have a chance in his later years.
Yep. Looked like Dallas was doing the right thing early, running the ball a lot, keeping Brees & Co. off the field, but once they got behind by a couple scores they started throwing (without much success), which played right into what the Saints wanted to do. Impressive win.
^^^ For sure. Looking to me like Seattle and New Orleans are the two best teams in the NFC. Home field throughout the playoffs will go a LONG way to determining who's gonna win the Super Bowl.
Eagles win next week and they are in sole possession of 1st. However that will be with an extra game played.
