Bozeman was leading the way on that 3rd and 1, but Collins didn't extend the ball. Probably 4th and inches. Made it by half the ball heheh
a really good win on the road, AFC win, tie breaker over the Titans which will come into play, i guarantee it when playoff time comes. A great bounce back win today. The Saints coming off the bye coming into Baltimore next week. The Saints offense has been on fire, Joe and the offense better be ready to play.
The run game looked better with Boseman. Or was it because they Titans were already feeling defeated. Most sacks since the first Steelers game in 2006 when they dropped Ben 9 times. Crazy thing is, at least half were coverage sacks
This goes back to week 1, but when we dominated the Bills, everyone said that the Bills just suck and that defense is horrible and blah blah blah. - Fun fact, the Bills defense is ranked #3 in overall defense as of right now. - Fun fact, the if the Ravens had scored just 27 points on Buffalo, their defense would be a top 10 scoring defense.
Your team owns my team's coach and sometimes it's quarterback. Can you guys play the Bengals 16 games a year.....can my team also play the Bengals 16 games a year?
It's Wednesday and I'm not seeing the usual post game chatter for such a decisive win. I've been too busy as of late to comment regularly but I'll put it in a nutshell here. I either completely underestimates the Ravens D or the Titans offense. I wasn't prepared for white washing. While the Ravens beat their previous franchise record by 2, I checked a bit further and they are now tied for second all-time sacks in a game with 20 other teams in history at 11. The last time a team notched 11 or more in a game was 2007 the Giants sacking McNabb 12 times. I find it hilarious that @jazznbluz pointed out that they had more sacks than Mariota had completions. Mariota was under pressure 53% of the time. That is how special Sunday was for our defense. Pees must've been "Pissed"...or at least a little jelly. The offense wasn't stupendous by any means but rather an efficient 21 point score. Being that far ahead we've become used to Harbs/Joe not running up the score (I really think that factors in). Ironically, Mariota had a better passed rating than Joe (90 vs 83). Though their performance was solid, Joe still needs to had a solidified OL and I'm wondering if Bozeman will become that anchor. The running game is still a problem and Collins' avg/carry was just 2.8 yards on 19 touches. He did have rushing 2 TDs which seems to be a rare achievement for Ravens backs lately. I saw Gus Edwards in training camp and he did stand out a bit. He's Jamal Lewis big and is a good one cut runner, then he likes to run through people. He's young and has fresh legs and his 4.2 yds/carry will get him more opportunities if Collins doesn't figure out how to average closer to 4 ypc or more. This was a a great win for the defense and a solid performance for the OL. I only wish this team was able (or willing) to score more; they went up early and took their foot off the pedal later in the game as per the usual.
