Come on everyone should have known this was going to be ravens win the moment williams fumble poped right to anothrr raven for a td.

 

I would hardley call it the upset of the year

 

I PREDICTED THE UPSET OF THE YEAR!!!

A perfectly healthy Chiefs team vs a Ravens team with 15 people on IR, with 60% of last week's o-line shifted, after the whole "Lamar can't beat Mahomes" narrative? Find me a bigger upset! As of now, it's the biggest of the year.

 

I dont know maybe last week when the steelers beat the Bills? Maybe the Raiders over the Steelers today or perhapse the Titans beating the seahawks at Seattle?

 

Heck the bears beating the bengals may be more shocking

 

The pounding of the packers by the saints last week both an upset in that the saints won and made even bigger by the way they did it

 

None of those are bigger when you factor injuries, but we can each have our own opinion. I don't even care, we just beat the team most consider the best in the league. Our offense outscored the offense most consider the best in the league. Nothing is bringing down my high right now.

 

Morning after thoughta

- Odafe Oweh is going to be a great player for Baltimore. He was the cause of both turnovers, forcing the fumble on CEH himself but also bringing the pressure and getting Mahomes off balance for that INT.

- Harbaugh gets hate from some Ravens fans, but the trust he has in his team, and his QB, are unrivaled.

- Lamar Jackson was amazing after he settled down. He clearly came into the game too amped up. An overthrow to Hollywood, another to Watkins, and that god awful decision to throw into, essentially, triple coverage was a bad start (he probably misread the defense). After that though, he was 2019 MVP Lamar Jackson, but better. After that, his throws were on the money. His decision making was great. He knew when to make time in the pocket and when to just run. Excellent 2nd through 4th quarter.

- Greg Roman gets more hate than Harbaugh, but he called a masterful game yesterday. There's honestly no where to critique him at all, in my opinion. If he keeps that up, with this QB who finally has decent weapons, this offense will be great.

- Speaking of weapons, Marquise "Hollywood" Brown is really making believers out of doubters, like me. He woke up not even knowing if he'd play today. Got his ankle tapped up heavy and dominated. He gets open regularly and is one of the few players that show up in prime time, in January, and just whenever.

- Finally, the entire offensive line. They dominated yesterday. 300ish yards on the ground and mostly kept Lamar clean all day. Villenueva seriously redeemed himself when he moved back to LT. Mekari did exceptional stepping in at RT. Bozeman and Zeitler continue to play well. At LG, Powers and Cleveland both played and both did well. This line can give Stanley time to fully heal as opposed to coming back still hurt.

That's it at the moment. Great to see Lamar and the Ravens end a few more narratives. "Can't beat Mahomes and the Chiefs", "can't come win a shootout with this type of offense", "this offense can't come from down 10 in the 4th", "can't win if the defense isn't dominate". The goal post will be moved because it's Lamar, but he'll end those future narratives also. Let's go, Ravens!
