My favourite scenario right now as an Eagles fan would be for the Seahawks or Falcons to knock off the Rams and then just suck it up and get the Vikings, Saints or Panthers in the NFC finals. Rather not get Saints/Panthers then Rams/Vikings.
Eagles looked awful, nuff said. Gifted game and should have trade future considerations. The nation should not look at Carr's contract, yikes he looked like Cutler.
As a Ravens fan that has seen his team enter into the playoffs repeateded at the 5th and 6th seeds, drawing the heavy competition early is a good thing. Ravens deep playoff and Super Bowl runs were predicated on beating the best early. It's not a 100% guaranteed, but beating the best on the way in makes a huge difference.
