Patriots Grissom with what could have been called a block in the back trying to get Grant to touch the ball. That really would have been controversial if Miami touched that and New England recovered.
Damn Howard had position but mistimed his jump and ended up getting flagged. Would’ve been another big play. Can these announcers get off the Patriots nuts yet?
Well they did say that Howard despite his early jump did nothing wrong. The contact happened due to OPI. But we know the announcers love the Pats in general. It's why Pats fans never seem to think the announcers are bad.
I just watched it again. He didn't hold Cooks at all but kinda put his hand over his arm after he had a hand to the face. Cooks got away with one. Live it looked like Howard was in the wrong though due to the very early reaction. Everyone thought it was DPI until the replay.
All anouncers suck. Just not as much as the posters on this thread. Clear defensive interfearance there.
