I am sweating bullets about this also. I'd LOVE for Fangio to come back, never wanted him to leave. But im now at the point where i actually hope he doesn't get canned by Denver. Cos Pettine should've been fired a year ago, he's surely gone this offseason. And if you're Fangio, who do you pick, this scrub ass organization or the team that is not too much more than a DC away.

Hate to say it but i think he would put them over the top, at least as far as the NFC is concerned. Maybe even the whole thing.

Oh yeah. Green Bay has some solid pieces at edge, safety, CB, and NT. He can make that defense a lot better than it presently is.

I too don't want Denver to fire him. But I think he and Elway are toast at the end of the year if they don't make the playoffs.

Sure the bears organization is a scrub one, but the one thing they have going for them is the McKaskeys. I want them to sell terribly, but one thing they do really well is developing relationships. Everybody respects them, and a lot of people want to coach/work for them. Cannot stress how that alone doesn't somehow make them a bright franchise.

Agree with all of this. To be fair, part of the reason people want to work for the McCaskeys is because they give a LONG rope to people and players, seemingly more than any other team. You know you'll at least get your *chance* to do the best you can, but the problem is what coach wants to come coach up the crap-tastic Offense Pace has given them?

I think Nagy's seat is the only one even warm, and I've read rumors it's not even that warm. Do you guys think they will can Pagano, when his unit is the one actually performing (our quibbles on how he could be better aside)? I don't see it. The only way Pagano goes is if Nagy goes.

You all know this organization, they will fire Bill Lazor to take the fall for the offensive troubles. Because THAT will solve our problems. This fucking team.

I don't think there's a chance in hell they make the playoffs. I know he's burning through his credits, but there's a lot of loyalty to Elway from the Bowlen family. Bear in mind also they were killed with injuries early on in the season. If they can get to 7 wins, 8 def, and Lock's shown enough to not give up on him then i think the regime survives for now.

As sad as it may be, this makes the most sense when it comes to this fucking team.

They haven't made the playoffs since 2015 when they won the superbowl. They've only been above 500 once since then in 2016 when Gary Kubiak retired and Vance Joseph bombed. A lot of people didn't think he'd get another HC after Joseph, but he got Fangio. He's endeared to the Bowlen family no doubt, but at 4-6, with NO, KC, Vegas, LAC, Carolina, and Buffalo left, they're not sneaking in. Not sure how Elway doesn't get fired or be allowed to gracefully step down. Hope I'm wrong...

So I missed the GB score by 4 points, and underestimated the Bears by 5.

But hey, I was right on the 2 garbage time TDs right? Right?
