Amazing how fast my mood just changed.

Defense is looking rather tough also, good tackling so far and quick... coverage has been tight.

Great defensive pressure forcing 3rd and 5 and then excellent coverage on the next play.

Tampa 0 fer 5 on 3rd downs and only 30 yards offense. Vikings might have something on defense.

I think Cousins lost his mind... he went to the sideline and had a melt-down with KOC, his face was blood red.

 

Not good and he tried to run for the TD boy did he look slow Capt Kirk just looks out of sync

Today the Vikings looked like a lost team from what I saw

 

Did we witness the comeback of Capt Checkdown?

 

It was a well deserved W by the Buccos, their defense is still pretty loaded and had a lot of returning players.

For some reason the defense eased up, I expect them to learn from today and recover. The offense on the other hand needs to finish... turnovers early set them back. O-line needs to get it in gear and Im not impressed with the run game yet, but that may be the product of them and the o-line combined. Certainly a very disappointing day and Cousins showed it big time.

One thing I also observed is... the lack of playing the 1's in preseason showed. The offense especially look like they were in a preseason game. Fortunately in that Division, they should have time to learn, adapt and recover, so maybe a playoff game will happen, but thats a long ways off. Time to learn from game 1 mistakes and move forward to game 2 with more determination and better execution.

That game sure let the wind out of my sails, but its just the beginning, so I hope this team has enough talent and coaching to overcome and get better.

 

I also give the Buccaneers respect and credit for winning where was the fire the O-LINE HAD NO PUSĤ Capt Kirk he just looked out of sync and I didn't understand not getting JJ the ball and the forgetting of Jordan Addison the defense played not great but good enough to get the win
