I just knew Pace was gonna ignore OL, knew it. Pace is dumb. One of the worst OLines in the league, 1 addition in FA who's a FS machine, and he ignores some great values prospects in the draft. Pace. Is. Dumb. Taking Kmet at #43 is all kinds of bad. IF you're the Bears and you wanna take a TE in this draft you should be doing it in the 3rd or 4th round, not your top pick. But of course Pace can't do that cos he already spunked his load re those picks. And this is the problem with backing yourself into corners. Trautman, who some thought was better than Kmet, went #105, the v end of the 3rd round.... The CB I really don't know anything about, all i'll say is that with some incredible value sitting there at #50 at OL & S there's no way in hell im going CB there. And an injury prone one? Pace conviction pick, im amazed he didn't trade three 6th rounders to move up and get him. Disgusting that Jeremey Chinn gets passed over twice. It actually all unfolded very well for Pace. There were a range of scenarios where he could've come away with a seriously solid 2nd round. Chinn + a Josh Jones/Cleveland/Peart/Hennessey/Cushenberry and you've an A. Kmet & Jaylon Johnson - D. Enjoy that last year in town Pace.
Already trading away next year’s draft picks. For a player that would certainly have been there 8 picks later. Get fucked Pace, you fucking fucker.
Pace is like the federal government, can spend/trade future picks (money) freely knowing he won't be around to foot the bill in the future.
Had to do it didn't you Pace. Couldn't get thru one goddam draft without losing control of your boner. I fucking hate that guy.
Other teams have executives that went to Ivy League schools, have law degrees, etc. Ours went to Eastern.
To his credit, this is the furthest into a draft Pace has probably gone before taking a division 2, or 1AA (or whatever they call it now) player.
Are you fucking. Shitting me! Your Offense is a mess. Your Defense is top10. You spent the most money in FA on Defense. And now you spend 3 of your first 4 picks on.... Defense?? How in Christ is Mr No Name DB a bigger need than O-Line?? Get covid motherfucker.
It seems Pace's plan entails Foles and/or Trubs getting murdered in the backfield in 2020. Assuming we make through the next 12 months without trading our 1st rounder, there might be a glimmer of hope we draft Trevor Lawrence in 2021.
Pace won't be employed by the Bears by this time next year. Our new GM might actually know a quality QB when he sees one.
We need general competence in decision making positions, which probably only comes in the form of new owners. Pace would interview him if he drove a 96 Honda and he could meet him anonymously and tell everybody he's a scout for the Cowboys, not the GM of the Chicago Bears when people point him out...Oh that was Mitch?
Did Pace just trade up AGAIN? This time for a WR who might've gone undrafted?? Am I hallucinating this shit?
