The Florida Project Yeah, Willem DaFoe got nominated, but still under-seen. The kids are really the stars. Bratty, but charming. The stories revolve around the tenants of a cheap motel complex near Disney World. Not a big budget, but it's life stories not explosions. Grade A.
Cinderella Man - a fantastic movie with great performances by Russell Crowe, Renee Zellweger and Paul Giamatti. Giamatti lost the Best Supporting Oscar that year to George Clooney for that jumbled mess Syriana. Even Clooney thought Giamatti was going to win the Oscar. He should have !
