Dawson’s injury didn’t look good, when I watched the game play back. Green still needs a lot of work.
Final 53 will be challenging they are going to have to cut 2DL that are NFL capable. Loudermilk, Fehko, Watts are not all making the roster. I’m a fan of Fehko he just eats up blockers. 2022 I was sick of #57 Adams being a blocking sled. DC Teryl Austin: Steelers Likely To Cut A Defensive Lineman 'We Know Can Play In The NFL'
The talking heads are starting to worry me. All of them are jumping on bandwagon. I like them better when they pick against us. Can’t wait to play the 49ers for a real game.
Depots latest 53 man guess has them keeping Armon Watts over Milk. Kozora: Pittsburgh Steelers 53-Man Roster Prediction (Post Bills Game) - Steelers Depot
Also with such depth on D line don’t rule out a trade. A lot of teams including the Browns have weak depth at DT . I guess you could say the same thing about the Steelers OG depth, and Dotson as a trade candidate to the Jets who are riddled with OL injuries
Coaches really like Milk. Aaron Smith comparisons which sound crazy but Aaron wasn't Aaron until year 3 either. Only time will tell.
Last game of the preseason. I expect scores every drive the first offense is on the field. They aren’t playing their starters so anything less would be ugly.
Nice to see him push it downfield. The throw to Diontae was great. The Pickens throw was just confidence in your WR.
Sorry I'm late, @gidion72. That first half was hilarious, even from the standpoint of a Falcons fan. I fully agree Tomlin should have pulled the starters almost immediately. There was virtually nothing for Pittsburgh to gain leaving them out there, and someone could have tweaked a knee on the turf or suffered some other pointless injury. I thought Pickett looked fantastic. His poise in the pocket and the accuracy on the deep throws showed that he's developing exactly as you'd hope. On Atlanta's side, there was one particular defensive back prospect who was trying to nail down a practice squad berth. Both Pickett and Trubisky torched him repeatedly, and he also forgot his contain responsibilities on what turned into one long running play. That was the main thing Atlanta got out of this one - finding out that some of the prospects are really practice squad material and not quite ready for the roster yet.
