Chicago just put 2 more forwards in play with their acquisitions, FLA has more bodies in play, LA will be up to something...etc.

 

I think Ronnie got what he could considering I'm not sure Eric would have waived his NT clause to any other team. This kid they got seems to be a good young Fin with a lot of upside. NY didn't have a 1st so getting 2 2nds was good. We still have LA's 1st this year along with our own and John Michael Lyles is on the block and I'd say Chris Verstige is too.

They say the only reason this kid the Canes got lasted to 89th is that he had a leg injury and they weren't sure how he would bounce back. He had 4 goals and 3 assist in this years World Juniors tournament for the Fins. Ron Francis was impressed enough with him.
