Canes trade Tlusty to Jets for 2016 3rd round pick and 2015 conditional 6th rounder

Also the Canes trade Sekera to the Kings for a 1st and a prospect.

 

didn't know the kids name was shiloh, nicknames include shy or low.

 

Pens get Daniel Winnik from the Leafs for Zach Sill and a draft pick.

Hawks firing off in all directions now.

Rumors around Atkinson and Vermette have some legs to stand on and are being reported by non-knuckleheads.
I don't see the Hawks trading anything more than a 2nd and 3rd for this year's draft though, as they're unlikely to keep anybody like that they acquire.

Dale has a huge pile of prospects to sort through, I'm not going to be surprised if he makes another move with some of the kids. He's in a race against Boston for the 8th spot and I think he wants it.

I'm not sure what the future considerations are but this is a very good trade for the Blues. He thrives in the system and their depth below the active roster sucks despite the hype to the contrary (I would say that's my opinion but I'll call it FACT).

Dumping Lapierre and picking up Goc and Cracknell is sneaky good imo, makes them better than snagging Ott and Miller like they did last year. As a Blackhawks fan, I don't like them addressing problems, I would rather have them just put roster slots in a blender.
