As long as you take that 8 for 54.5 he just signed for...complete with full NMC until 22'.

funny that was written right before the Seabrook deal.
the backend of that deal isn't gonna be fun.

Bob's expecting a 2-oar dinghy called the SS Bettman to come cruising by towards the end of that deal.

  5. mattymcgee55 Legend Patriots Bruins

the SS Bettman will throw out a raft they call the Montador/Olesz.

is today the day that Alexander Khochlachev heads back to Mother Russia?
maybe Dealin Don unloads him for a future 6th.

    Uncle Gary to the rescue!!
Yep, Rocky Wirtz has been a good little stormtrooper for the league, and he's been bringing them big bags of cash. Chicago, NYR, and Boston is going to catch a huge break somewhere in the next CBA. Fehr is kind of pushing things that way anyway.

That raft wasn't even really directed at Chicago. That was for the PA and places like Toronto, NYR, and PHI.

Gary's custom made Chicago-life raft isn't even constructed yet.

Doesn't matter, Chicago should be back down by then anyway.

Nothing move for the NHL level.
NJ has to create a system so any talent addition, even if its just a NHL player, helps more than it should. LA was going to lose him to somebody's affiliate. I think NJ did the right thing as they try to get some traction.

After a kick to the groin area on the Torts signing, Vancouver at least gets a little something. A 2nd is a solid return for a fired coach.

Sounds like Burk and the Flames are getting agitated.

SN and NBCSports reporting the Flames are willing to pull a 'big' deal.

  15. understatement of the day right there. more than a year later too.

Also, TSN is reporting that they're reaching the boiling point over what to do in G: they're unhappy with Hiller & Ramo, (obviously the poor start is the reason; it's not that they think the duo sucks). With 3 G's on the roster, I think they're going to move one sooner rather than later.

Will beat me to this on the Waiver board, Ramo has been waived. At least he'll go to California instead of the Adirondacks if he were to remain in the Flames org.

Waiting for Wideman, Potsma, Weber (VAN), etc. to switch teams. Lots of demand for a top 6 forward like Atkinson or help at the blueline. Lots of dmen have gone down around the league and others deported themselves. Demand is there and some teams are on shaky ground. Rumors are starting to get more interesting at least.

with depth and cap issues, i don't think van can ship weber out unless they go total rebuild. i could see hamhuis/vrbata getting shipped to the east/west/norf/south for salary dump, prospects and picks if they decide to go that route. although the vey/bonino taste in their mouth is still fresh.

this Hamonic stuff is great. i feel badly for Hamonic the person that he's in this situation, but the position (bent over) that he's put the Garth in a fantastic.
