  1. hockeybob Hall-of-Fame Blackhawks

They still have almost all their picks and they should be somewhat flexible against the cap, at least enough to retain some salary.

Burrows only makes 4 in 16' and 3 in 17' at a 4.5 cap hit but he really sucked donkey last year. That would be a nice one to purge, but I think he'll be a fixture unless tank command AZ comes a knockin'.

Hamhuis has a bonus tied in, and he may have gotten it already. His remaining cap hit might only be in the low 3 million range making him much more appealing.

I still have no idea how to even guess at what this roster will look like March 1st let alone next October. I have a feeling Vancouver fans will be doing alot of staring.

Bruins have 2 1sts and 2 2nds in 2016, depending on whether Edm decides to give them their 2nd in '16 or '17. a defenseman would be nice.

something tells me that Deal Donny may go crazy at the deadline.

Jets, Buffalo, maybe Florida should jump on Jonas.

  9. hockeybob Hall-of-Fame Blackhawks

Boston needs Buff. They're going to have Looch withdrawal, this will placate the angry Sullys

NJ is such a disaster right now, Shero is going to need alot of time in my opinion.
Schneider has been a very good starter and teams like EDM, WPG, DAL, etc. might be interested. They have veteran cores, or soon to be veteran cores and holes in net. Flipping him makes sense, I haven't heard any rumors. Somebody should start them.

please, for the love of god no Buff in Boston.
Sully would love him though you're right.

  12. mattymcgee55 Legend Patriots Bruins

the fact that its more than just possible makes me cringe.
if the Broonz acquired Buff Id have to think the writing would be on the wall that the Cload era is ovaaah! Cload doesn't like fat loads that play their own unique "position".

  13. hockeybob Hall-of-Fame Blackhawks

I'm told Buff is husky, not fat.

buff is chunky, slow and powerful. cload would haterize him. nucks up to 1 goal in 3 pre-season games.

  16. hockeybob Hall-of-Fame Blackhawks

    Trade em' all!!!

If Kane was going away for a while, I seriously thought the Hawks might kick the tires on a massive move for the twins.

Then I again, I still have no idea what Vancouver is doing.

Same guy that actually called that Saad's retention was only 50-50 (when everybody thought it was in the 90% range) a day before a trade nailed another movement a month late with his source. He's saying the Hawks are close to another deal. I wonder if Bickell, Shaw, McNeill, or some depth are going out the door the other way.

  18. the word is Buffoons *WRITE*

  19. mattymcgee55 Legend Patriots Bruins

Seabrook to Boston for Kochlachev, something else, something other than that and then picks.

are you not confident in a blue line w/ possibly 0 top 4 defenseman?
