  5. hockeybob Hall-of-Fame Blackhawks

Well, so much for seeing Sharp move in a package for a first.

I had to actually attend to work tonight. That seriously impinged on my ability to pay attention to more important matters.

So I'll make two observations with worrying if I have my facts straight:
    - The Sabres are a much better team than what they were 24 hours ago.
    - I am going to retract nice comments that I made about the hockey team from Boston. They got some very good prospects at 13-15. But they could have parlayed them into two top ten picks. That would landed them great prospects. They're now at least two years away from being serious contenders. Translation: they F!-ed things up today.

it amused that garth pulled the "we are doing it all" ploy as they moving to Brooklyn.

bruinvision goggles must have some sort of expiration date.

it was very comforting not seeing stan bowman today.

chiapetorelli should be shot, the oilchange season 34 should not have improvement...damn, need to check the points on my mortgage.

why would you pay more for doogie than if you sent him an offer sheet? burkism #282

some of those kids look like they'll take 4 years to play in the nhl.

    it was fun gents!

zac rinaldo to boston for a draft pick.

thank you boston. we owe you one!

  9. mattymcgee55 Legend Patriots Bruins

    you aint kidding cat.

  10. hockeybob Hall-of-Fame Blackhawks

They should have parlayed them into anything since they were almost undoubtedly prepared to keep them.

  11. hockeybob Hall-of-Fame Blackhawks

Because the Hawks haven't done anything or because listening to Stan induces excessive levels of fatigue and depression?

  12. hockeybob Hall-of-Fame Blackhawks

To be fair to the truculent one, I don't think he gave up more than he would have to had surrender in an offer sheet.

  13. I look for the Hurricanes to entertain trade talks on Skinner and Ryan Murphy. Murphy is interesting in that he is a Dman who has potential but I think he is too small to play that position in the NHL. With Wisnienski do the Canes buy out the remainder of Lyles contract? Or do they trade Murphy or Jordon? it will be interesting to see what they do prior to the 1st.

  14. hockeybob Hall-of-Fame Blackhawks

There are a bunch of dmen prospects and good scoring wings on the market.

Skinner's name out there quite a bit. Francis has his hands full trying to rate his value against Kessel and Sharp given the injury risk. Good opportunity for a good return or a Sweeney (a sweeney is really bad).

  15. rediiis Guest

rinaldo for a 2017 3rd round pick, yikes. by the looks of b's, that is almost a late 2nd.

  16. hockeybob Hall-of-Fame Blackhawks

Now Jones goes from Boston to SJ for a 1st.

    Nice haul for the Bruins.

That still leaves a problem though, they have 3 years of Chara, a few of Bergeron, and a bunch with Krecji. Why are they trading for futures while they still have a win-now construction?

In SJ's case, they have to make the postseason or this is a terrible trade.

Sweeney fighting for redemption. Overall, I still think he should be burned at the stake

  17. hockeybob Hall-of-Fame Blackhawks

I wonder if that 16' first from SJ is going to end up in Chicago.
If Boston moves Eriksson and Kelly , plenty of room for Sharp and Bickell.
    I'm starting to get aroused.
