Flyers have a plethora of defensemen and Ghost is now on the 3rd pairing, which won't sit well. And they got 2 guys on standby too. I think they make a trade for a 4th line winger. Just my 2 cents.

Canucks went after him Will.....straight up for Louie Ericksson........for me that would have been a good trade.

Because Louie is a waste of time and money........Jim Bennings worse signing EVER......Lucic is from Vancouver and he would bring toughness.

Sparks was traded to the Golden Knights from Toronto in exchange for a 2020 fourth-round pick and David Clarkson on Tuesday.


Sparks faced an uphill battle for playing time with the Leafs, as he was stuck behind stalwart Frederik Andersen. He'll head to the desert, where he likely won't see many starts with veteran Marc-Andre Fleury there, but could be the goaltender of the future along side Malcolm Subban. Sparks is 14-18-2 in 37 career games in the NHL to go along with a 3.09 GAA and .898 save percentage.

 

VGK have traded Nikita Gusev to the NJ Devils for a '20 3rd and a '21 2nd. Undervalued return - sucks to have major cap problems. The Devils quickly got him signed for two years and $9MM. They're going for it! I do not like all their moves, but they clearly have given their fans things to be excited about. Of course, having two of the last three #1 overall picks helps a lot.

 

I like how aggressive NJ has been.
I’m reticent about Gusev though, let’s just see him first. Plenty of guys tear up the KHL and fizzle our in the NHL.
I’m gonna check the odds on the Devils and take them if the number is right. Hughes, Simmonds, Subban and Gusev are interesting. I’m not sold Schneider is done now that he’s supposedly healthy.

 

Callahan and a late pick for Condon and a late pick. Makes sense for both teams.

 

TB now has 4 goalies on 1 way deals. Just signed Mcelhinny so you gotta assume he’s on the big club. Expected that Loui Domingue gets dealt and Wedgewood/Condon play in Syracuse.

TB is going to win 83 regular season games next year. Hopefully another donut in the playoffs but I’m not holding my breath on that.

And the Blues just got better.

 

Makes St.Louis better but he’s a RHD behind Pietrangelo and Parayko. $6.5 long term, seems like there’s another shoe to drop, might be in a year but there are only so many minutes. Of course he can play the off-side just less than ideal.
