ROR could really thrive in this setting, could push for 30 goals and is another quality vet. I think the blues solidified a playoff spot.

It's a start, they could pull off some deadline moves that could really put them in the mix (WC finals).

 

I guess the goal is to be healthy and playing well when the playoffs roll around. I just think of St.Louis and Minnesota as same as it ever was, might win 1 round at most.
Blues definitely added to their team though and look much stronger today than they did a few days ago.

Would love the Bruins to at least help force the hand on Marner or Nylander. This Leafs roster is absurd up front now. I really liked what I saw out of Kapanen in the playoffs, I’d possibly offer sheet him too.

If the rangers went for nylander, they lose a 1st, 2nd and 3rd rounder. This would be good amo for the leafs to help them get a quality D. I don't think nylander is in the future plans, they want to move him for some playoff D.

 

I think they'll have extensions inked on marner and matthews before july. 1st/19. I don't believe a team is allowed to contact a player before that date.
