Please Maloney, take Jaskin or either of their top dman prospects for him.

With the injury, I'm not sure if Armstrong is going to gamble again.

I'm really sick of the "arms race" in the central the last couple years. Part of the reason they became Dominate was because they stayed out of the arms races in other divisions years ago.

Really I just want it easier for Chicago to win. I don't like this.

Connolly was not on anyone's radar around here. Says enough about the value of blennie's opinion.

2 2nds seems steep but I guess there's still somewhat of a high ceiling for Connolly.

  4. hockeybob Hall-of-Fame Blackhawks

Whoops, I thought it was one 2nd.

2 2nds blow for Connolly. I'm not really high on 2nds, but I don't like using 2 of them like that. Which 2nds were they, Boston's own or Garth's?

  5. hockeybob Hall-of-Fame Blackhawks

I'm all about a 2nd for a player that can stick in the bottom six. 2 2nds means he should stick in the top 9 and situational top 6. That's a gamble imo.

One of my favorite parts of the deadline is to find out which teams were close on which players once a player gets moved.

Kind of like August when we get the whispers that a gm like Lombardi almost landed Brad Richards in 2011...ahhh what could have been for the Blackhawks had they had him instead of acquiring Carter.

I like that deal for a rebuilding Philly. I think Gudas has has a place in the NHL. Not a top 4 but he can fit in to a role where the other young D (Ghostbear, Hagg, Morin) in the organization are different.

Really the picks alone are worth trading Coburn. This haul isn't that much worse than what Arizona got for Yandle.

The Richards stuff was in "the instigator btw" but the rumors were out after he signed in NY.

Still sorting through rumors now. Looks like Boston was serious about making a bid at a number of players.

    No shit.

I'm selling out of quilted foil. The collusion investigative team are donning helmets and headed to the desert as we speak.

I feel like too much is being made of Max Domi and Duclair playing together for Canada. If those 2 are going to play together next year they'll get their asses handed to them. Something for Coyote fans to hang their hats on I guess.

  12. hockeybob Hall-of-Fame Blackhawks

    Petry to the Habs.

    That's big.

  13. hockeybob Hall-of-Fame Blackhawks

Maloney needs to be fired anyway. I'm with you about Domi and Duclair.

  14. hockeybob Hall-of-Fame Blackhawks

wow, 2nd and conditional 5th for Petry.

How does he fetch less than Timmonen?

Stan better answer his damn phone when I'm done with my coffee.

    Petry for picks. Any guesses?

    A 1,2, and 4 maybe?

  16. mattymcgee55 Legend Patriots Bruins

What!!! Vanek on the cheap last year, Petry this year.

TSN won't do anything ridiculous to fill time (referencing to CNN filling down time with Llama chases)? Did James Duthie forget about Brobovstree?
