Big fan of moving prospects that arent' going anywhere to help the roster. Swapping 2nd for 3rd is no big deal and Holland can get another 2nd if he wants. I was locked and loaded to make fun of this trade but I think it's very sound from a wings perspective. From the other side, Dallas needs to seriously upgrade the system so getting some depth prospects is a good thing even if they don't make it to the NHL. Detroit might have had a problem keeping both around with limited ice time in GR. Solid asset management by Nill...now he's due for a crack-loop (tasty breakfast cereal) deal.

 

erik cole is a disaster for the wings, he doesn't care about anything but a paycheck. holland gets his piece, babs is furious.
