fucking Joe Carter. the pitch was a decent pitch in a good spot. carter went down to get it. i recall back then if it went to game 7 the mvp could've been from a losing team as both paul molitor and robbie alomar had an incredible series for hitting by batting .500 and .480 and lenny dykstra batting .348 with 4 hrs for the phils. i still hate the damn blue jays !

people blamed mitch williams for the loss. they damaged his house and basically ran him out of town. in true reality manager jim fregosi was to blame. he tired the bullpen in the crucial game 4 and blew a huge lead late and lost 15-14. phils win there, they won game 5 and they come back to toronto needing 1 win to win the title. they lost game 4 15-14. williams and the bullpen was exhausted by game 6 for their overuse by fregosi in the series.
