I love the WC format. It kept a bunch of teams in contention till the last day of the season... I think thats cool. Good Luck to the Blue Jays !
I think without the WC it wouldn't be as fun or fair. The AL East for instance ended up with the worst division winner and 2 WCs. We beat the hell out of eachother as did the Yankees after the trade deadline. There is a really good chance that the Red Sox are the best team in the league followed by a WC team. Originally I was not too fond of the 2nd WC team but I have come to accept it as a penalty to the participants for not winning the division, and a prize to the #1 seed, avoiding the #1 pitcher to start the series. Well this year it is moot as the Jays/Os and Mets/Giants have the same records and would have played in a tiebreaker anyways.
Well it's the Stro Show tomorrow. Gibby is definitely getting fired if it doesn't work out. I've had his back all year but it makes no sense here. If all works out I'm guessing the pitching goes like so: Stroman=>Liriano=>Biagini=>Osuna
They're showing the game outside tomorrow at nathan phillips square. Yesterday we were all gathered outside of belfast love pub watching it on their tv. There were jays fans wearing their caps walking right by and totally ignoring that the game was on, lol.
Supposed jays fans, the type that get drunk when they win a playoff game and go high fiving everyone they see.
... and Im glad the Jays won... dont care for the Orioles and I think the Rangers and Jays is a cool/better series.
I watched the last few innings of lasts nights game. Aside from the idiot throwing the beer, it was a good game to watch. Of course I fells asleep for the extra inning walk off.
