Just picked up tix for sept. 9 vs red sox and sept.23rd vs the yankees.

 

Upton fucking quit on the team. He thought it was a home run so he didn't back up the right fielder. The ball bounced off the wall towards right-centre and Upton had to run forever to get to it. He slipped trying to hurry up and pick it up and it resulted in an inside the park HR. It may be a triple with an error but who cares. Big chance spoiled.

Osuna redemption!

 

Jays pen is alive and well, osuna has occasional blip, the kids on the money most nights.

 

As Gibby said post game in while lounging on his chair as usual... everybody has a bad outing once and a while and blows a save, unless you are Britton.

Big win and 1st 3-HR game for Donaldson. Osuna comes in without a save opportunity and allows the tying run to be at-bat. I don't understand why the Jays play Osuna when there is no save opportunity. Statistically he is poor when he isn't pitching for a save.

 

Since coming over from Braves, Jason Grilli has thrown 31.2 innings for Jays, and struck out 45.

 

That's more like it!

 

Isn't nice how the bullpen just seems to work itself two years in a row.
