Yeah I heard, nothing wrong with common sense, you mean they were actually thinking of replacing him with liriano, one of the worst pitchers this year.
Rogers is making the extra coin from the playoff success to cover the salaries if they wanted to keep it going. What I hear is that the jays are very insignifigant in the big picture when it comes making money. Their bread and butter comes from obviously cell phone/tv/internet, why not just have fun with this and keep fielding a winning team, with the increased attendance and higher tv ratings they cover the payroll expense, one would think, no?
Tomorrow makes me nervous. Liriano vs KC. He them pitches again vs the Astros the following Friday at home. September looks relatively easy but the rest of the month is going to be tough with the Indians, Astros and Orioles.
KC has really fallen on hard times. They cant score runs to save them. I think the Jays behind Liriano will hammer them. Jays just have too much firepower. Just get a few runs and no way does KC come back. (no jinx)
Jays bats have been silent for a bit. We just got the record for most strike outs in a game and 4-game series.
Well hell, since you put it that way, the Jays dont stand a chance! Just kidding... Seriously, with the playoff race in order and the KC crash and burn, the Jays have a great shot at breaking out with the lumber. _________________________ Anyone know who's pitching for KC yet?
Interesting end to the O's game but with bases loaded and 2 outs in a 9-6 game the A's ground out. Before that it seemed like the game was over on a tag but review overturned it.
