I'd rather have Stroman start game 5 anyways. Price is rattled. Plus Stroman will be on regular rest anyways. If we win game 5 we have Estrada in game 1 and then Price in game 2.
If he wanted to start Stroman in game 5 from the start the ONLY thing he could do was get Price in today because there is no way you simply skip David Price and expect to be able to re-sign him.
They could've used him on wednesday as a lefty out of the pen in place of cecil. Dickey could've went 8 innings. Important thing is that they won.
Dickey got robbed the win in his first postseason start (old player ever to start in a playoff debut). It was given to Price for his first playoff win.

Pillar, Encarnacion, Donaldson and Colabello were great but Jose Bautista was the Jays MVP that series, even over Elvis Andrus.
Yes but besides that at-bat he's been relatively quiet, plus Bautista had the one that turned that crazy 7th around on top of everything else. EE was sneaky good because of all the IBBs.
