I think he gets a slight pass, some of the throws were even worse off target than his normal wounded ducks. Sore ribs may have been a factor. May have been. And Gidion will say YES, beach will say FUCK NO. Lol.

 

I thought Trubisky could thrive in the game manager role. He wasn't given much of a chance. The oline took 1/2 the season to get right last year. Nevertheless, he hasn't taken advantage of the opportunities he has gotten as far as "managing" the game.

He moves the ball up and down the field better than KP but too many turnovers. That's been his Achilles heel in PA. It wasn't in Chicago. I think he'd ultimately help the team more than Pickett because the defense would get more rest. But he can't turn it over. That's a killer.
