It doesn’t matter when they play the Browns they will lose to them at least once. Hunt won’t be much of a factor early on anyway coming off not playing for almost a year. Entering last season I was certain they would be an 8-8/9-7 non playoff team. This year part of me thinks the same but then part of me thinks they will be better this coming season. I know it’s way early but the NE game is big IMO, if they get destroyed that could be a sign of a tough season, win that game and we could be on to something special. Thank you and Happy Easter
Nahhh, this team could beat the Pats then lose to a bunch of weak teams. Crazy stuff happens every year with our beloved Tomlin coached Super Steelers. Although something tells me winning up there in Foxboro is wishful thinking no matter what time of year that game is played.
Nahhhh, I kinda like the front loading of some super tuff games for our super steelers. If we are gonna lay an egg like in game one last year, then we may as well do it against a great team instead of a fellow mediocre one.
So I guess I have to spell it out for you. My prediction is that they will lose at least one of the two games they play against each other.
I understand exactly what your saying...my point was their guaranteed one loss w a 50/50 shot they lose the other game according to u....I guess your on the Browns bandwagon as well just like most media darlings...the hype is all that hype...don’t worry that they won a few games vs 5 teams that were derailed w injuries or had lame duck coaches and were out played big time vs the 2 playoffs teams they played in Houst and Balt
I don't care that they extended him, I care that its in the $25 mil per year range. If its $30+ mil per year, that's insane.............and will hurt the team longer term. It does NOTHING to help them contend other than he's here. Can't get another toy/piece or two if available if we're paying our QB............who LED THE LEAGUE in turnovers last year...........$30+ mil per year.
Rapaport said likely over $30 million APY, but he doesn't exactly have the greatest track record for accuracy... http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap30...en-roethlisberger-agrees-to-twoyear-extension If you listen to the video, he says likely over $30 million...
How many games would he have won last year if not for the defense giving up lead? He had at least 2-3 game winning drives where the D gave it up and also scored a ton vs KC...Ben is the least of the worries
Teams are paying 20 mill for Case Keenums and Sam Bradfords. I like the Ben contract . and we're not paying Lev Bell. The cap isn't hurting. Look at the FA acquisitions .
Yeah but it's solid. 5000 yards last year. That should dip without AB but thank goodness we don't have a QB crisis like half the league. And he seems to restructure every year .
