The Chicago Blackhawks could be getting their captain back ? sooner rather than later.

Both Jonathan Toews and Brent Seabrook travelled with the team to New York in preparation for a three-game road trip.

The Blackhawks play the Rangers on Tuesday and the Islanders on Thursday before travelling to St. Louis to take on the Blues Saturday.
No word yet as to when, or if, they will play in the upcoming games.

Toews was injured on Nov. 23 in a game against the San Jose Sharks and has missed every game since with a back injury.

Seabrook last played on Dec. 6 when he crashed into the boards after his feet were swept out from under him in a game against the Arizona Coyotes. He has missed the last two games with an upper-body injury.

Chicago has made out just fine without the two stars, compiling an 18-8-4 record that has it sitting in first place in the Western Conference.

I've been waiting on this injury for months.
Great player for about 50 games, then he's worse than useless since Therrien doesn't know how to mix lines worth a damn. Should be some ugly sailing ahead for the Habs.
