Sven Baertschi is done for the year with a separated shoulder. Good thing the Canucks picked up Jussi Jokinen, meh, who am I kidding.

 

Max Pacioretty is expected to miss 4-6 weeks for the Montreal Canadiens because of a knee injury.

The forward was injured in a 6-3 win against the New York Islanders on Friday.

 

At least these injuries to the Canucks didn't happen in a play-off year, some 3-5 years in the future.

 

The Boston Bruins have overcome various injuries throughout this season and they’ll have to do it again for at least another month. On Tuesday, the Bruins announced that Charlie McAvoy has been diagnosed with a sprained MCL. He’ll be re-evaluated in four weeks.

 

With Boeser and McAvoy out, give Barzel the Calder.
