...and the dirtiest. What's that, 4 roughing calls in the first half? Wow. How many cheapshots can they cram into one game?
Anybody watch Pats vs Lions last night? How come every time they showed Josh Gordon on the sideline in street clothes, he had a look on his face that said, "Geez, these guys are serious. I hope they don't find my bong"...
Pittsburgh always carries 3 QBs. Dobbs is signed through 2020, Rudolph 2021. Why in the world would they invest a 4th round pick in a guy, watch him exceed their expectations in his 2nd year and then trade him away for a pick from the same round? I enjoyed your post but your off base on this one.
Not a big deal, I was just listing all the possibilities. I don't really expect them all to be realistic. The storm may be brewing in Tampa though. It's going to be a tough call after their week 5 bye. It's hard to bench Fitz, but at the same time, he isn't your future at the age of 35. Winston will not be happy, and I'm not convinced a good locker room guy, if he is benched... Even if it is because of his dumb ass mistake. 2019 Fitz is a free agent and more than likely moving on to his next team. Winston will be on his 5th year option next season and they need to figure out just what he is to this team. They won't be in position to draft another QB in 2019 BECAUSE of Fitzpatrick. They almost have to keep Winston, so the big decision is, do you reinsert him after the bye. If the answer is yes, then Fitz to San Francisco is a perfect marriage... Say a 3rd rounder for a guy who is only going to finish your season for you, then move on.
Soft. Ben Roethsliberger: *flops* Also Ben Roethlisberger: "I think they call too many penalties for roughing the passer."
Well, San Francisco can cross Tyrod off the list: Hue Jackson: Now, it's not Hue's job to field phone calls for trades, that's Dorsey's responsibility, but so far this off season, everyone except Todd Haley seems to be on the same page. Haley, the new comer, has shown the most resistance to "how things are done in Berea". I for one am actually glad they are keeping Tyrod. I don't think the locker room or QB room will be affected by this move, Tyrod's a true professional. I think the Buccs are in for more turmoil than the Browns will be....
They should be all set... they've got C.J. Beathard and Tom Savage on a flight into town. Seriously. They paid an average QB a ton of money and are turning to two complete scrubs. At this point, they'd be better of tanking Indianapolis-style to get the best player available (maybe even a QB) in the 2019 Draft.
Did anyone notice the amount of contempt in the official's voice when announcing the roughing the passer calls?? It was almost comical.
Did you hear that the Browns' ex-kicker Zane Gonzalez attempted suicide by trying to hang himself? He failed in his attempt when he couldn't kick the chair out from under himself.
Was just trying to hop on the bandwagon of "Sam just re-posts useless twitter stuff". I guess that's not a thing.
Wow have you even noticed the new emphasis on protecting QBs? Garrett got flagged too. Does that make him dirty? No. So the NFL regretted it. Whoopee. The NFL is flawed. But the Steelers are committing too many penalties. I think "dirty" is a bit extreme.
